Consulting / Technical due diligence

Know what you are buying, before you sign.

An independent review of a product's code, architecture, security and team, for investors, acquirers and boards. You get a written report with the risks, what they would cost to fix, and what to ask the founders.

What the review covers. The technical questions that change a valuation or a deal.

Code quality

How the code is written, tested and maintained, and how hard it will be to change.

Architecture and scalability

Whether the system can handle the growth the business plan assumes.

Security

Access, data handling, secrets and known weaknesses, with the serious issues ranked first.

Technical debt

What will need rebuilding, and a rough view of the cost and effort.

Team and process

How the engineering team works, ships and depends on key people.

Infrastructure and costs

Hosting, third-party services and running costs, and where they will grow.

AI claims checked

Whether an AI feature works as described, how it is evaluated and what it depends on.

Web3 and smart contracts

Contract security, custody and token design reviewed for blockchain products.

Licensing and dependencies

Open-source licences and third-party dependencies that could create risk.

Why investors and acquirers use us. A review from people who build these systems.

Independent

We are not selling the deal. If the code has problems, the report says so plainly.

Advice informed by AI and Web3 systems we have shipped, not theory.

AI and Web3 depth

We can tell a working AI system or smart contract from a demo, because we build both.

Written for decision makers

A plain summary for the investment committee, with the technical detail behind it.

Scoped to the deal

We review what affects the decision, not everything in the repository.

Confidential

Access is read-only and findings are shared only with the people you name.

Engagement models. Pick the shape that fits where you are.

Technical due diligence FAQs.

What is technical due diligence?

An independent review of a company's technology before an investment or acquisition: the code, architecture, security, team and costs, and the risks they create for the deal.

What do we get at the end?

A written report: an executive summary, findings ranked by risk, a rough cost to fix the serious issues, and questions to put to the founders.

How long does a review take?

It depends on the size of the product and the deal timeline. We agree the scope and timeline before we start.

Can you check whether a company's AI actually works?

Yes. We review how the AI feature is built, how it is evaluated and what data and models it depends on, so you know whether it works as described.

Do you need access to the source code?

Read-only access gives the most reliable answer. If that is not possible, we can review architecture documents and run interviews, and the report says what could not be checked.

Ready to turn your vision into reality?

Tell us about the company and the deal timeline. We'll tell you what a review would cover and how long it would take.
